Alberta Village is a 76-unit development in the Cully neighborhood of Northeast Portland, Oregon near both the Sacajawea Park and the Thomas Cully Park.
Leveraging the combination of a twenty-seven-parcel subdivision on a four acre lot entitled by the Ethos team and the newly enacted Residential Infill Project, which allows for two to four unit on residential lots. Sitting at the confluence of two trends: single family for rent and the densification of close-in residential neighborhoods, the project features approximately seventy-six homes, all of which will be at least two bedrooms and most of which will be townhome style.
Following in the path of the nearby Fernhill Crossing development, the family-sized townhome units are priced to provide housing for the missing middle – a demographic that earns too much to qualify for typical affordable housing and not quite enough for appropriately sized new luxury market-rate units. For the east facing units, there is a striking unobstructed view of Mt. St. Helens and the development is immediately adjacent to a park and very near to several others.
The project will be built to the Energy Trust of Oregon’s ‘Best’ standard.
