brookLAND, is a 160-unit apartment project in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Southeast Portland. It will offer a genuine neighborhood experience with ample access to parks and open space; the building leverages a uniquely shaped site by providing several atriums with outdoor vantage points available at every floor.
Sweeping city and mountain views will be available to many units and common areas. Focused on resident’s wellness, every unit will have light and air on both sides, providing an unparalleled living experience; brookLAND will include a tea house, a gym, a building lounge and workspace, and a roof deck.
The building supports urban mobility with 240 bike parking spaces and 42 vehicle parking spaces using a mechanical stacking system; the site is on a frequent bus route and blocks from the 17th & Holgate MAX stop for a quick trip downtown. brookLAND will be a low power consumer on account of limited indoor common areas as well as Energy Trust of Oregon’s ‘Best’ status. The project harnesses small format units to offer market-based affordability, approximately 25% of the building will be micro studios with built-in furniture. Six three-bedroom units will be available to families making no more than 60% of the Area Median Income.
