Jamison Loos
Development Director
Jamison’s passion for urban environments emerged growing up in Los Angeles and contemplating how cities function. Since then, he has worked in finance and development roles and used his skillset to support local non-profits and industry organizations.
Before joining Ethos, Jamison worked for a Holland Partner Group, a sizeable West Coast multi-family development platform. From initial underwriting through lease-up, he managed projects ranging from urban podium projects to expansive master-plan garden apartment developments. A notable exception to his multi-family experience, Jamison managed the pre-development and construction of 80,000sf office building (including the firm’s corporate headquarters) and full-block, ground-floor retail space in Downtown Vancouver, Washington.
A graduate of Reed College in Portland, Jamison studied urban politics as an undergraduate, publishing original research on the nation’s first community development corporation in Brooklyn. After working in a non-profit community development role, Jamison attended Portland State University to obtain a master’s degree in real estate development.
Jamison serves as Co-Chair of ULI’s Young Leaders Group, is a member of the Buildings Committee of Life Change Church (North Portland), and volunteers with Faithful Friends (youth mentoring organization).
While not contributing to the built environment, Jamison is an avid tennis player and cyclist. He loves charcoal grilling, cooking big dinners, and creating occasions to bring friends together.
