Jerryck Murrey holds a B.A in Business Management and Corporate Communications from Western Illinois University, as well as a Masters in Real Estate with a focus on Development and Finance from Georgetown University. With experience in every phase of the development process, Jerryck is armed to tackle projects that require master planning, property development, and tenant lease-up. With a knack for finance, he has executed in-depth market and financial analyses for a multitude of property types including Student housing, Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties, hotel/convention centers, and professional sports venues. Jerryck has developed several multifamily rental properties with an eye towards sustainability by achieving Earth Advantage Platinum Certifications. Prior to settling in Oregon, Jerryck worked with Brailsford & Dunlavey Inc., a boutique real estate consulting and development firm based in Washington DC. During his tenure he participated in planning over three million square feet of complex real estate projects, most notably providing project development services to the District of Columbia during the $150M infrastructure construction associated the DC United professional sports stadium. Prior to working in real estate, Jerryck played professional basketball in both the NBA and Europe. As an ex-professional athlete, Jerryck understands the power of teamwork, focus and determination and brings the fruits of those lessons to his real estate endeavors.
In addition to his work in real estate, Jerryck is also an artist that has sold and shown work around the country. It is through this lens that he frames his work in real estate; his multidisciplinary approach to projects stems from his passion for combining the built environment with the imagined one. In challenging yourself to create something unique, the artist’s work no longer is their own, but the property of the viewer; the one who experiences, or in this case, the one who resides. That appreciation, is what drives all Creatives.
A renaissance man by trade, Jerryck enjoys painting, outdoors, traveling abroad, experiencing culinary excellence and working with his wife and two children to provide opportunities to others less fortunate than themselves.
